Tis the Monday before Christmas and all through the town, our customers are calling, to wipe away thier frowns. Just a little play off of a classic Christmas jingle, hoping all are in the mood for the coming Holiday, the celebration of the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Wow, did we get some rain yesterday or what, unbelieveable. I think it must have rained pratically every hour on the hour. Just think, a couple of years ago we were wondering if we'd ever get good rain again, and then this year it's been, wow, will we ever get good sunshine again. Well, Mother Nature has a way of keeping herself balanced.
Nice and chilly today, and looks like we will have some wintery weather for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Get the firewood and coffee ready, keep yourself warm and enjoy the time with family and friends. Long term forecast is showing several upcoming days to be more winter like, which is good. This time of the year should be wintery, makes the Holiday that much brighter to me for some reason. Seems to make it easier to slow down and get in the spirit when it's cold outside. Maybe it's because the weather is not good for outdoor activities, or, more likely, it's the dream of a White Christmas. Don't believe we've ever had one, at least that i can remember, although we had some flurries Christmas night a couple of years ago. Anyway, cold at Christmas just seems to work for me, hope it does for you too.
