Monday Morning, April 22, 2013, and it's chilly outside, cool breeze blowing in from the east, bringing overcast skies along with them. Wow, I don't remember it being this chilly, this late in April in quite a while. Sure liked it better when the temperatures were climbing into the upper 80's, sun shinning bright, feeling like a good day to "Play Two" as Mr. Banks used to say. Being a tremendous baseball/softball fan, it sure makes for more enjoyable coaching/watching when the temp is warmer. Oh well, hopefully just a few more of these late season cold spells, and then we'll be ready for the summer. The cooler temps do make yard work much more enjoyable, and I do like the breeze associated with it. Just wish it would get hot.
It is a good time to get your HVAC checked out, make sure all systems are operating efficeintly, get your duct work checked, and sealed if needed. It's amazing that we have become, as a society, so concerned with the energy efficeincy of our water heaters, refrigeraters, washing machines, HVAC systems, TV's, etc. and yet we tend to overlook our duct work. Take the time to have your duct system checked. More than likely, you'll find that your cooling/heating attics, crawl spaces, etc. Get your duct leakage stopped, and enjoy a more comfortable home this summer.
Have a Great Day
